In order to face this circumstances on a successful way, PROTEGELES needs to coordinate as much social agents as possible, mainly, public institutions, law enforcement agencies, Internet related industry, education agents (parents, educators and students), Child Welfare Non-Governmental Organizations and the media.
PROTEGELES is working with all institutions mentioned above and promotes an interactive way of working, as it is explained here after.
PROTEGELES Association is supported by the European Commission within the framework of Information Society and Safer Internet Plan (SIP), more specifically; the EU supports our hotline for reporting illegal and harmful contents on Internet and our raising-awareness campaigns. These campaigns are addressed to parents, teachers and children and are intended to inform on the potential benefits of Internet as well as its risks.
PROTEGELES takes part in all activities promoted by the European Commission which aim at spreading a safer use of Internet.
